Gnomoria Pc Game
About Gnomoria
Gnomoria is a sandbox village management game from the independent studio Robotronic Games, and it reached its full release on Steam in February 2016. You lead a small group of gnomes who set out on their own and try to grow them into a kingdom.
There’s no story. The game drops you into a procedurally generated world, so every map is different and every settlement follows your own plan.
Anything you see can be broken down and rebuilt somewhere else. You craft items, build structures, set traps, and dig deep underground to find the resources your gnomes need.
Gnomes work in professions, and the game lists more than 30 of them, from miner and mason to blacksmith, brewer, and farmer. You can change a gnome’s job at any time, but the gnome takes a short nap and drops the current task. Bedrooms cut down on those naps.
Keeping everyone alive takes planning. You grow food, supply water through a well or a brewery, and defend the settlement against the creatures outside.
Mechanisms add another layer. Hatches, levers, and steam engines let you build elaborate contraptions.
Your stockpiled wealth attracts wandering gnomads to your cause, and it can attract enemies as well. The bigger the kingdom gets, the more you have to protect.
The game draws inspiration from Dwarf Fortress, with an isometric view and retro-style visuals. Steam users rate it Mostly Positive, with 75% of 2,819 reviews favorable. The 1.0 release in 2016 is the final version, since updates stopped after that.
